An adorable antique Victorian engagement ring dating to 1883 and sparkling with three precious hand cut Diamonds. All original and in super condition; a very special choice which is both ethical and unique. This very lovely vintage ring has a full set of hallmarks for 18ct yellow Gold applied at the Chester Assay Office (which closed in the 1962) including the head of Queen Victoria and allowing us to date it to 1883. Typical of the time, with divine carved scrolls to the shoulders, the belcher style setting to the Diamonds is ornamented with carved scrolls in the fashion of the day and the olden gems are as white and clean as you could wish for, their glitter like the sun on pristine pure waterdrops.

The three glimmering beauties measure as 0.20: 0.30: 0.20ct using a Schindler gauge (a combined weight of 0.70ct).

The ring size can be altered to suit but measures as an 'M and a half' or '6.25' as is.
