Dating to the 1920's/30's, a statement vintage Art Deco inspired Sapphire and Diamond cluster ring, all original and really striking on the hand. Trail blazing a new technology at the time, the Sapphire is actually a lab grown Verneuil Sapphire (read about this technology in our ) of the most sumptuous velvetty blue with a twinkle to the edges, just as you'd ideally like.
The ten older hand cut Diamonds (which vary in cut and colour slightly would have been recycled in the making of this ring as they date in cutting style from the 19th century) framing the Sapphire measure at around 0.05ct each and so we judge half a carat combined, and mounted in Platinum which rests on an 18ct yellow Gold gallery and tapered band, the ring size can be altered for free.
